Quotes

"Real Sociedad play very well, they press hard and play attacking football. It wasn't easy to win here and even more so considering the games coming up," Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said after the team's win over Sociedad.

"I have a spectacular squad in that respect and we won by fighting and suffering. We are four points away from winning La Liga and we are very close. Everyone thought we were coming here for a walkover and the only ones who didn't think so were the players.

"I'm very proud of them because they have shown attitude, desire and the desire to keep winning and continue the team's good form "I have to thank them because in that sense they were spectacular."

Head-to-Head

Madrid thrashed Cadiz 3-0 in their last meeting in La Liga with the match taking place at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla on 26 November 2023.

Therefore, the Whites are undefeated in their last six matches in the league against the Yellow Submarine having registered four wins and two draws.
