PARTICIPATION:

All persons (“Participants”) entering the Betway English Premier League Promotion (“Promotion”) agree that the Promotion rules, as set out in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), shall apply and are binding on them.

Betway is referred to as the “Promoter” in respect of the Promotion for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.

The following people shall not be eligible to participate in this Promotion:

• Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoter.
• Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified above.
• People who are not natural persons and citizens of South Africa residing within South Africa at the time of their entry into the competition.
• No persons under the age of 18.

This Promotion commences on 10 August 2017 and shall run until midnight on 10 September 2017. The (“Campaign Period”), subject always to early termination or extension thereof by the Promoters in the sole discretion of the Promoters and which early termination or extension will be announced by way of variation of these Terms and Conditions. Therefore, it is the sole responsibility of the Participants to check these terms and conditions for variations from time to time.

These Terms and Conditions override any advertising collateral and/or any other material disseminated by the Promoters or its employees or representatives in the event of any conflict. In the event that there is any conflict between a provision of the Promoters Standard Terms and Conditions at * and these terms and conditions of the Promotion, the conflict shall be resolved by taking the meaning given in these terms and conditions.

PRIZES: QUALIFICATION AND ALLOCATION:

The Promotion will include daily cash prizes as well as a Grand Prize. Participants may gain entries into the Daily and Grand prize draws as many times as they wish over the promotional period.

DAILY PRIZES:

There will be 20 guaranteed cash prizes that can be won daily to the total value of R2000 during the Campaign Period.

Participants qualify by placing bets on soccer games on any given day from 10 August to 10 September 2017 thereby qualifying for one entry into the daily draw for each bet that is placed on that day. These daily prizes are based on the day the Participant places their bet(s) and not the date of the soccer game in respect of which the bet is placed.

All Prize winners on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the promotion period will be awarded and notified on the Monday that follows.

GRAND PRIZE:

The winning entrant and their companion will win a 2-night stay for two at a London 4-star hotel of the Promoters’ choice departing from a date of the Promoters’ choosing in December 2017. The winning entrant and their companion will also receive two match tickets of the Promoters’ choice to a West Ham United home game determined by the Promoter and played at the London Stadium in Decemeber 2017. The prize includes 4-star accommodation based on two adults sharing a twin or double room comprising breakfast and dinner and excluding beverages; and two return economy class flights of the Promoters’ choosing on the selected date and time.

Visa arrangements are to be made and paid for by the prize winner and their chosen companion. As Promoter, Betway South Africa will pay for all related visa costs on presentation of valid receipts. Should it be required, transportation to the arranged departure city will also be arranged by the Promoter.

Should the prize winner or their chosen companion exhaust all options and still fail to acquire a valid visa for travel to the UK, a cash amount of USD 4,000 will be paid out to the winner only. This will only be possible with an official notification from the UK Embassy showing that the visa has been declined. The winners’ chosen companion does not qualify for any cash reimbursement. Should the winners’ companion not qualify for a visa for any reason and there is not sufficient time for another person to be correctly vetted, the winner will have the option to travel by themselves to London or receive the cash reimbursement of USD 4,000.This amount will be converted into local currency using the foreign exchange rate at the date and time of receipt of notification from the UK Embassy in regard to the declining of the aforementioned visas.

For every bet placed on soccer games during the period of the Promotion, in addition to the daily draws, Participants will also gain a corresponding number of entries into the Grand Prize Draw where 1 lucky customer will win a trip for 2 to the UK to watch a live EPL game.

All entrants who participate in the competition and successfully comply with the Terms and Conditions of this promotion and the Promoters standard terms and conditions, have the opportunity of winning the Grand Prize.

The winner will be selected by random draw and notified telephonically as well as by SMS confirming that they have won the grand prize. The date of the Grand Prize draw will be 15 September 2017 at 10:00am. The winner will be contacted within 7 days of winning the Grand Prize to arrange details of the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted within the 7 day period, the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited by him/her in which case another winner will be selected via random draw.

The winner must be a South African citizen with a valid Passport for travel.

The award of the Grand Prize is dependent on the winner and his/her travel companion successfully obtaining visas for travel to the United Kingdom or proving that they have legal dual citizenship with the corresponding passport allowing travel to the United Kingdom without a visa. The Promoter will pay the application costs of the visa and provide confirmation that the applicants have won the Grand Prize and the relevant details of travel and accommodation for submission to the United Kingdom Embassy/Consulate concerned however in every other respect it is the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her companion to do all things necessary and as required by the relevant authorities to apply for and obtain such visas.

Should the visas be refused, the Grand Prize will be forfeited subject to the awarding of an alternative cash prize equivalent to no more than 50% (fifty percent) of the value of the Grand Prize in the sole discretion of the Promoter, to the winner.

The Grand Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The Grand Prize will only be handed over in person to the verified winner. The winner must arrange their own transportation, at their own cost, to attend the handover of the Grand Prize and to apply for their visas where travel is necessary for this. The Promoter is in no way responsible for the winner’s travel costs in respect of these activities.

The Promoter is in no way responsible for any risks or damages that may be incurred by the winners during their trip in respect of the Grand Prize and their activities associated therewith.

The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residence at the nominated prize delivery address. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

GENERAL

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or postpone the competition at any time for any reason whatsoever.

The winner or Participants may be required to take part in publicity campaigns for broadcast or publishing purposes. Winners or participants shall at all times be entitled to decline the above request. Winners or participants that participate in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the promoter.

Winners may be required to be photographed for publicity purposes or to participate in a radio or television broadcast. No fees will be payable to the winner in this regard and Participants agree that by their participation in the Promotion they are releasing themselves and their winning of the Promotion to be identified for publicity purposes.

By entering this competition Participants authorise the Promoters, to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.

The Promoter will continuously monitor any irregular behavior, whether it be in entries and/or Participant’s details. Consequently, any violation or attempt and/or suspicion of violation or irregular behavior and/or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions will result in immediate disqualification of the Participant.

he Participant acknowledges that he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these Terms and Conditions and that he/she understands and accepts these Terms and Conditions.

All Participants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Participant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoters, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries, and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Promotion and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries or losses are sustained as a result of gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Promoter.

The Promoters, their directors, employees, agents and distributors accept no responsibility and they will not, in any circumstances, be liable to compensate the Participant, or accept any liability for: (a) any inability by the Participant to use the Grand Prize in part or at all; (b) the lack of quality or any other aspect of any service which is or should be provided at any venue(s) in relation to the Grand Prize; or (c) any personal loss or injury occurring at any venue(s) arising, directly or indirectly, out of the use of the Grand Prize.

The Promoter, its directors, employees and agents are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize in the Promotion, nor in respect of any warranties or undertakings given by any person other than the Promoter themselves in these terms and conditions.
