With Napoli returning to winning ways in their most recent Serie A outing, the reigning Italian league champions will now turn their attention to Genoa on Saturday.
Napoli currently find themselves lingering in third position on the table as they look to overcome a sticky spell of results in Serie A.
After a damaging 3-0 loss against Juventus last week, Napoli bounced back with a 2-1 win over Fiorentina this past Saturday as goals by Antonio Vergara and Miguel Gutierrez gave I Partenopei maximum points at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Sitting on 46 points, nine behind log leaders Inter Milan, Napoli have now jotted down two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five league matches.
Genoa on the other hand are 14th with 23 points after 23 games played. Overall, Genoa recorded two victories, two stalemates and the single defeat in their previous five.
Also, Genoa will head into their next game on the back of a 3-2 defeat against Lazio, in a game that took place at Stadio Olimpico last Friday.

Speaking after Napoli’s win over Fiorentina, Antonio Conte brushed off his side’s quest for a second consecutive Scudetto title amid challenging for honours in various tournaments.
“Scudetto? We’re talking nonsense. The team is doing its best with what we have,” Conte said.
“Luckily, we got these points. Ask yourself a question and answer it: if the season started now, where would you place Napoli in the table?
“We don’t want to give up because we have Coppa Italia, the league, and qualification targets. But continuing like this is going to be very difficult.”
