Lewis Hamilton will be eager to become the second British driver to win the
Australian Grand Prix three times after Jenson Button.

The Mercedes driver failed to secure a podium spot at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on 9 March as he finished ninth in what was a disappointing race for him.
Hamilton started on the eighth grid and he went on to finish ninth which saw him accumulate just two points from the race.
Standings
The accomplished driver is placed ninth on the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated eight points from two races.
Hamilton is 43 points behind the leader & Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT driver Max Verstappen who is the man to better once again this season.
Why Hamilton could win the 2024 Australian GP
The Formula One legend is one of the most successful drivers in the history of this race having won it two times.
Having clinched the Australian GP title in 2008 and 2015, Hamilton will be determined to make it three wins when he competes on the Albert Park Circuit.
What did he say?
"There is potential within this car, but we still need to add a good amount of performance," Hamilton said after the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
"The car today was pretty good in the medium and low-speed corners, but we were losing out in the high-speed. These next few races will be tricky but we will be putting in a great deal of effort to improve as much as we can.
"I know everyone at the factory will be getting their heads down and working as hard as they can."
