2024 Cognizant Classic is scheduled to take place in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA between 29 February and 3 March.
What to know about the 2024 Cognizant Classic
It was founded in 1972 as Jackie Gleason's Inverrary Classic, and it was frequently the first of the Florida events in late winter following the "West Coast Swing" until 2021.
From 1982 to 2023, Honda was the title sponsor, and it was known as The Honda Classic. In late 2023, Cognizant was announced as the new title sponsor.

The 2024 Cognizant Classic's 144-player field is officially set with 19 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) committed.
The field also boasts 63 PGA Tour winners combined for 204 Tour titles.

Headlining the 2024 Cognizant Classic field are Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, and defending champion, Chris Kirk.
The event will also feature nine other past champions including Sepp Straka (2022), Sungjae Im (2020), Keith Mitchell (2019), and Fowler (2017).
Former winners Padraig Harrington (2015, 2005), Russell Henley (2014), McIlroy (2012), Camilo Villegas (2010) and Matt Kuchar (2002) will also tee off.
What Is At Stake
The 2024 Cognizant Classic purse is set for $9 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,62 million.
The winner will also earn 500 FedEx Cup points and a trophy.
